My work is built on a deep passion for photorealistic art, something I’ve been devoted to since I was a child. The process I use—subtractive carbon pencil—sets my pieces apart. I start with a completely blank illustration board, then use crushed carbon pencil lead with a cotton ball rub the illustration board over and over again till its completely black Then I carefully erase away layers until the artwork takes shape, revealing intricate details that often appear more like a photograph than a drawing. This technique requires patience and precision, but the result is always worth the effort. I’m proud to offer a style of art that’s rare and unique, one that captures the essence of realism in a way few other methods can.
What truly excites me is the way my art connects with people. I’ve had the pleasure of hearing from those who purchase my work, and the responses have been overwhelmingly positive. People often describe how my pieces make them feel calm and reflective, sparking thought and conversation. It’s this emotional connection to my art that makes all the hours of work worthwhile. Every piece tells a story and serves as a reminder of the beauty found in the smallest details of life.
